USA to India — Imports
For goods coming into India, we collect the cargo at the US origin through our US partners and ship it to Nhava Sheva (JNPT). Our CHA desk files the Bill of Entry, arranges the duty and sees to any examination; our own trucks then deliver the container to your factory gate. The clearance and the road leg come on one invoice.

You send the commercial invoice and packing list. We file the shipping bill on ICEGATE and prepare a certificate of origin if it is needed. On the US side we work with our US partners: the ISF (10+2) is filed before loading, they handle the US customs entry, and they arrange FDA prior notice for food, and the FDA filings drugs need, where required.

You send the bill of lading, the commercial invoice and the packing list, and you need an IEC. Our CHA desk files the Bill of Entry and pays the duty, and we tell you early if your goods need a permit or certificate.

Transit Time
We do not quote one fixed transit time, because it depends on the vessel, the service the shipping line runs and the routing, for example via the Suez Canal or around the Cape of Good Hope. East Coast and West Coast services also differ, and an inland delivery adds a US road or rail leg. We confirm the schedule with every booking, so you plan your delivery date on real sailing dates.

How long does shipping from India to the USA take?

Yes. As a registered Multimodal Transport Operator (MTO) we can issue a through bill of lading that covers US inland points such as Chicago, Nashville, Louisville, Kansas City and Detroit, with the US road or rail leg arranged through our partners.
Do you also handle imports from the USA to India?
Yes. Our US partners gather the cargo at origin and send it on to Nhava Sheva (JNPT). There our CHA desk raises the Bill of Entry and our trucks run it to your factory, anywhere in India, on one invoice for the Indian side.
Can you ship pharma and dangerous goods to the USA?
Yes. Pharmaceuticals and dangerous goods (DG) are among the cargo we commonly handle. They need extra documents, such as MSDS and DG declarations, and the US side needs the right filings, which we arrange with our US partners. Share the product details at the start and we will confirm what applies.
