Company history
Badshah Group began in 1986 as a single mechanical workshop for heavy-duty vehicles in Mumbai — founded by Yunus Khan (Badshah Bhai), Ismail Khan & Meraj Khan, the active directors and managers of the company. The workshop is why the fleet is owned rather than rented, and why it is still maintained in-house four decades later. Road transport came first, then customs clearing, then freight forwarding.
Today the group organises and supplies a fleet of 150+ heavy vehicular units of all types — trailers, tankers, 20–40 ft container trucks, cranes, excavators and manlifts — moving cargo to every corner of the country.
Who we are
An Indian freight forwarder and customs clearance agent that also owns its trucks. We book ocean and air freight for importers and exporters, file Bills of Entry and shipping bills at Nhava Sheva (JNPT) and Mumbai Port from our own desk, and deliver on our own 150+ trailers.
Outside India we work through 40+ partner offices and an agent network in 80+ countries, except embargoed ones. Our biggest export lanes are the USA, the UK and Europe, followed by Australia, Japan & Far East, East Africa and the Gulf. We are not a multinational and do not describe ourselves as one. What we own is the Indian leg — the part of the journey where consignments most often go wrong.

When was Badshah Group founded?
In 1986, as a single mechanical workshop in Mumbai. It moved into road transport, then into customs clearing and freight forwarding, and now works as an Indian freight forwarder and customs clearance agent with its own fleet behind it.
Is Badshah Group a global company?
No, and it does not claim to be. It is an Indian operator: the fleet, the clearance desk and the Nhava Sheva port relationships are all ours. Cargo reaches the rest of the world through a partner-office and agent network, with the USA, UK and Europe as our biggest export lanes.
Who are Badshah Group's clients?
Mostly pharmaceutical, chemical and petrochemical manufacturers who import raw material and export finished product: GlaxoSmithKline, Hetero Labs, Reliance Industries, Gulf Oil, Atul Ltd, Meghmani, Dabur, Prince Pipes, NCC and the Bhabha Atomic Research Centre.
Is the Badshah Group fleet tracked?
Yes. Vehicles are GPS-tracked with route planning and real-time consignment visibility, so you get a delivery window based on where the truck actually is rather than an estimate.

Through the workshop network it started with in 1986: company workshops across India, diagnostic and repair equipment, qualified mechanics, and riding squads that reach roadside breakdowns. Maintenance is scheduled rather than reactive.
