India to Europe shipping —
Germany, Italy, Spain and beyond.
One booking moves your cargo from an Indian factory to a European warehouse: we collect and clear in India, the vessels and aircraft carry it west, and our partners in each country complete customs and delivery. Imports return the same way.
India to Europe shipping, run from Nhava Sheva
Behind the booking sits Badshah Logistics (India) Pvt Ltd, a Mumbai forwarder with its own trucks and customs licence at Nhava Sheva (JNPT). Textiles for Italy, chemicals for Germany, machinery for Spain — the cargo differs, the desk does not: pickup, clearance, ocean or air, then European customs and delivery through partners in each country. A first-time exporter gets the same desk a weekly shipper does, and the same short chain behind the cargo.

India–EU Trade Agreement — Where It Stands
India and the European Union concluded their trade agreement negotiations in January 2026. Conclusion is not the finish line: the text must still be signed and ratified, and only then does it take effect. Until that day, normal EU import duties apply to Indian goods. We watch the progress, and when the agreement starts we will check your products against it — the duty saving usually needs a proof of origin, which we prepare.

- Status watched on every booking
- Normal EU duties until entry into force
- Your goods checked once it starts

Documents for European Cargo
Each country keeps its own import niceties; the Indian side is one desk. What each member state asks for is listed before the cargo sails.

Transit Time
Europe-bound cargo moves by direct services and by transhipment — via Colombo, Singapore or a Mediterranean hub — and the choice sets the clock. The inland leg from Rotterdam or Genoa adds its own stretch. We put the confirmed schedule in front of you with every booking. Mediterranean gateways shorten the road for Italian and Spanish buyers, which is why Genoa and Valencia earn their place.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Short, direct answers to what clients ask us most. Still unsure? Ask us directly.
How long does sea freight from India to Europe take?
Direct and transhipped services run on different clocks — via Colombo, Singapore or a Mediterranean hub — and the port pair from Rotterdam to Barcelona sets its own. The inland delivery after the port adds a leg. Each booking comes with its confirmed schedule before the cargo moves.
Which European ports do you ship to?
Rotterdam and Antwerp for the Low Countries and Germany, Hamburg and Bremerhaven for the north, Genoa, La Spezia, Valencia and Barcelona for the Mediterranean, and Le Havre for France. Air freight flies from Mumbai. Delivery beyond the ports runs through our partners.
Has the India–EU trade agreement started?
Not yet. Negotiations concluded in January 2026, but the agreement must still be signed and ratified before it takes effect. Until then, normal EU import duties apply to Indian goods. We are following it closely, and once it starts we will check your products and prepare the proof of origin they need.
Do you handle imports from Europe to India?
Yes. Our partners collect across the EU — Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, France, Spain — and ship to Nhava Sheva (JNPT). Our desk raises the Bill of Entry, pays the duty and delivers on our own trucks, with the Indian side on a single invoice.
Can part loads (LCL) go to Europe?
Yes, LCL suits smaller consignments — a few pallets of garments or a couple of crates of spares — moving in shared space. Whole containers and air freight serve the bigger or faster moves. Tell us the volume and destination country and we will advise.
Can you ship chemicals and dangerous goods to Europe?
Yes. Chemicals, including dangerous goods, are core cargo on this lane. They move with an MSDS and a DG declaration, correct packing and markings, and the European notifications our partners arrange. Share the product details early and we will confirm the exact requirements.
