What do I need to import from China to India?
Your supplier’s details and the product. Our partners in China collect at the factory and book the sailing to Nhava Sheva (JNPT); our desk here prepares the Bill of Entry, settles the duty and attends any examination, and our own trucks deliver to your factory. You deal with one desk on the Indian side.
How much does China to India shipping cost?
There is no single figure: the cargo, the Chinese load port, FCL or LCL, and the ocean versus air choice all move the price. Send the product, the supplier city and the volume, and we will quote the lane — usually the same working day.
Does my product need BIS certification to import from China?
Many do. Electrical and electronic goods, and a range of other product families, cannot clear Indian customs without BIS certification. Send us your HS code before you place the order and we will confirm whether it applies, so the cargo is never held at the port for a missing certificate.
What is anti-dumping duty, and does it affect my goods?
Anti-dumping duty is an extra charge India places on certain goods from China and elsewhere, to offset goods sold below fair value. It raises the landed cost sharply. We check your HS code against the current lists before the cargo sails, so you know the full cost before you commit.
Can you pick up goods from my supplier in China?
Yes. Our partners across China collect from any supplier city — Shanghai, Ningbo, Shenzhen, Qingdao and the rest — consolidate if needed, and book the sailing. Export clearance in China is handled on that side; everything from Nhava Sheva onwards is us.
Do you handle LCL part loads from China?
Yes. Smaller orders share container space with other cargo under LCL, which suits a trial run or a small programme. Full containers work out better once the volume grows, and air freight answers urgent spares. Tell us the pieces, the weight and the volume, and we will name the right mode.
